FBI Back In Reno After Burglars Elude Security And Raid Las Vegas Shooter's Home
Round-the-clock security didn't stop invaders.

The FBI has beefed up security in Reno, Nevada, after a group of burglars broke into the heavily guarded home of Las Vegas mass shooter, Stephen Paddock over the weekend.

According to authorities, a number of unidentified individuals descended on Paddock's home in the Del Webb retirement community just outside Reno, bypassing both state and federal law enforcement who were assigned to protect the property.

Local law enforcement says it's not clear how the group got into the home, which is supposed to be under round-the-clock surveillance, and they do not have any suspects — but they also believe nothing was taken from inside the home, as the home was left completely undamaged.

It's like we're in the Twilight Zone.   I keep expecting the ghost of Rod to appear.   This just can't be happening.  Nobody could be that incompetent, clueless and insidiously stupid.   And yet....

This is really strange.

If the home was "heavily guarded" there would have to be a pretty strong motive to break in with those risks. It would suggest there was something pretty important that needed to be taken care of...

Why wasn't everything in the home already photographed, logged and hauled off to a secure location???

Reno is clear across the state.  Huh.  I have a case in LA, so I'm going to Seattle.  This news day really has confused me.

He had a home near Reno as well as in Mesquite, closer to Vegas. I wonder if they were planting evidence or removing it. This is the first I heard the place was guarded. What fumblechumps! Is this the best LE we have. Everything found will now be in doubt.
