House extends vacation after White House asks Congress to cancel vacation
by Philip Wegmann | Oct 11, 2017, 5:13 PM

On Tuesday, the White House complained that Congress was taking too many vacations. Press secretary Sarah Sanders said from the podium that the nation would be "a lot better off if the Senate would stop taking vacations and start staying here until we actually get some real things accomplished."

But either lawmakers weren't listening or they just don't care what the Trump White House has to say. On Wednesday, the House voted to cancel Friday votes and skip town Thursday afternoon to get a head start on their next weeklong vacation.

Normally I would say "great!" when these wankers aren't around to pass more federal laws to keep me in line, but when they're extending vacations just to be a-holes it's an annoyance.
