CALLER: Hi, Rush. How are you? Thank you so much for taking my call.
RUSH: You bet.
CALLER: And, by the way, you can call me “dear” any time and I’d be flattered. I’m calling because when I heard Michelle Obama talk about being first time proud of her country, I was disgusted. I was just so sickened, but I have to tell you, Rush, for the first time in my adult life, I am not proud of at least half of my country. And I just feel like people are just so messed up in what they believe and what they think. It’s crazy. Yesterday was the anniversary of my three children’s father’s death. He died from bladder cancer that they said was because he was one of the first responders of 9/11, and he’d been, you know, six months down there with the cleanup.
