Rick Perry is the latest to board flight scandal
by John Siciliano | Oct 5, 2017, 11:14 AM

Energy Secretary Rick Perry is the latest Cabinet-level official to be found to have used a chartered flight one day before Health and Human Services Secretary Tom Price resigned over private plane use.

Reuters reported Wednesday the energy secretary took a private chartered flight to visit a uranium-processing facility in Ohio the day before Price resigned.

Price resigned a week ago Friday for spending close to $1 million on private air travel. That morning Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke responded to reports of his use of private flight, calling the fuss made over the use of chartered and military flights a "little B.S."

The Interior inspector general's office later told the Washington Examiner it had opened an investigation into Zinke's flight activities, which involved a trip to Las Vegas to address a sports team owned by a former campaign contributor.

All being set up by Obama loving career people with GS number jobs.

I would welcome this revelation if it were revelation. We've long known of this practice so why is it now that it matters?

Of course this is only an issue, because it's Trump's people.

Flight furor: Obama officials also took pricey, non-commercial planes

....Top figures during President Barack Obama’s tenure who used non-commercial planes for travel included then-attorney generals Eric Holder and Loretta Lynch, then-FBI director Robert Mueller, and then-CIA director and defense secretary Leon Panetta.

Because of their jobs, these officials were required to take government planes for security and communications purposes. Still, critics questioned whether they could have found more cost-effective options and whether all the trips were necessary

This is a total BS scandal.  The cost is miniscule and if officials need to use private flights, they should be allowed to ... unless they're going on personal trips.

Just another attempt to undermine the Trump administration.
Against stupidity, the Gods themselves contend in vain.
