Scalise rocking LSU-themed scooter at the Capitol

House Majority Whip Steve Scalise is riding in style at the Capitol — steering a scooter decked out in the colors of his beloved Louisiana State University.
The Louisiana Republican was seen riding through the halls of the Capitol on the scooter on Tuesday.
The front of the machine features a purple basket with the name of the LSU Tigers emblazoned on it. The chair’s backrest is also tricked out with “LSU” on it and a fleur-de-lis with the school’s purple and gold colors. The back of the seat has a customized accessory: a mock Louisiana license plate with “MAJ WHIP” written on it.
