At Twitter physical scientist Ned Nikolov informs us of a 2015 paper that “finds NO trend in global Tropical Cyclone Activity between the decade 1965-1974 and the present. Hence, warming has NOT affected hurricane activity for the past 45 yrs! ”

For anyone interested in facts, this will be a compelling yea, devastating indictment of the AGW conjecture. However, ecoparanoia is one of those issues which did not entrance its faithful through objective, rational evidence, but rather by raw emotion.
Ecoparanoids always have a strong yea, overwhelming intuition that human beings are destroying the planet slowly. And even regardless of any evidence to the contrary, they will continue to believe it with all of their heart and soul to their dying day. For AGW fanatics their belief was never really predicated on facts in the first place, so new facts will not dissuade them.
The fact is that the amount of energy contributed by human-caused CO2 to the global heat-mediation/retention machinery is so relatively minuscule, that to believe anthropic CO2 added to the total atmosphere has more influence than all of the other contributors combined, is to believe that a spit wad can derail a freight train.
The conjecture of AGW is so patently absurd in a physical geography sense, that scientists of generations future will mock the AGW ecoparanoids with contemptuous, unmitigated, abject scorn. They will be rightly deemed craven and roundly condemned with much venom.
