The Knicks have finally traded Carmelo Anthony

One day after reports surfaced that Carmelo Anthony had tripled the number of teams he’d be willing to accept a trade to, it appears one of those new clubs has landed him.

ESPN reported the Knicks will acquire Enes Kanter, Doug McDermott and a future draft pick for from the Thunder for Anthony. Earlier in the day, ESPN reported Anthony’s camp was still pushing for a deal to happen before training camp opens Monday. ESPN reported the deal is complete, but the trade call won’t happen until Monday.

Really hoping he could have gotten with his first choice, the Houston Rockets, this makes the OKC Thunder a formidable power in the West, still just fodder for Golden State, like everyone else, though.
