What do Michael Brown and Anthony Lamar Smith have in common? Hmmm, let’s see.
Both were shot to death by law enforcement officers? Check. Both lived in Missouri? Check. Both ran afoul of the law? (Brown, strong-arm robbery; Smith, drug dealing). Check. Both were held up as heroes and memorialized by their communities? Check.
