Blaming Donald Trump, private citizen, is a stretch @INVAR ... even for someone with your anti-Trump history.

BTW, Trump announced for the presidency at least eight months after his donations to McConnell, et al.  Hardly "just" months.  But, I will give you credit for creative spin on this.

No dear, the ONLY SPIN is coming from YOU - which we now expect in the grandiose twists of pretzel logic you employ to exonerate your prince.

Had Donald Trump not saved Mitch McConnell from a primary challenge from Conservative Matt Bevin in 2014, we wouldn't even be mentioning Mitch McConnell.

How did citizen Trump save McConnell in 2014??????

XenaLee and myself provided you links to the fact Trump infused McConnell's campaign with cash to put him over Bevin in the KY primary.  You again, choose to ignore what condemns your snarky commentaries to attempt deflection.

The only one 'spinning' here is you - which you have illustrated you do even better than Josh Earnest did for Obama.
Fart for freedom, fart for liberty and fart proudly.  - Benjamin Franklin

...Obsta principiis—Nip the shoots of arbitrary power in the bud, is the only maxim which can ever preserve the liberties of any people. When the people give way, their deceivers, betrayers and destroyers press upon them so fast that there is no resisting afterwards. The nature of the encroachment upon [the] American constitution is such, as to grow every day more and more encroaching. Like a cancer, it eats faster and faster every hour." - John Adams, February 6, 1775

But.... just....one slight correction there, INVAR.   You call it spinning, I call it LYING (especially considering the Trump-cheerleading history).   Facts don't matter with these types, ya know.   Only the prevarications necessary to do "damage control" on that truth that's getting out there.  Can't have that!

One of my favorites that must be played very very very loud.

If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power.     -Dwight Eisenhower-

"The [U.S.] Constitution is a limitation on the government, not on private individuals ... it does not prescribe the conduct of private individuals, only the conduct of the government ... it is not a charter for government power, but a charter of the citizen's protection against the government."     -Ayn Rand-

Donald Trump comes out swinging for Mitch McConnell, after Senate veteran says opponent Matt Bevin lied on his resume

Sen. Mitch McConnell spearheaded an attack against his Senate rival, Matt Bevin, claiming the Tea Party favorite lied on his resume and now Donald Trump is weighing in to support Team Mitch.  .  .  .

But then you knew that already, since it has been pointed out to you countless times already.  Yet you willfully play dumb - choosing to discard the truth and embrace a lie instead.

Oh, and for the record, Bevin didn't lie.  Just as Ted Cruz didn't lie.  But then you knew that already too.

The GOP leadership, in  not working on things like repealing Obamacare and tax reform, now gives Donald Trump an excuse to go to where he's more comfortable and that's working with Democrats

To me reads if you are out of your comfort zone it takes very little to make an excuse.  Thus bringing you back to that liberal comfort.

Mommy they did me wrong.  I can't play with them anymore.  They don't want to play the game the way I like to play.  The Liberal way.  I am going back to my old best friends.

Alexander Acosta Labor Secretary resigned under pressure concerning his "sweetheart deal" with Jeffrey Epstein.  He was under consideration for AG after Sessions was removed, but was forced to resign instead.
