The explosive device left outside a Salford café is NOT now believed to be industrial strength firework

A device which exploded outside a café in Salford was packed with nails and screws, the M.E.N. can reveal.

It was left under the shutters of The Lounge in Concord Place, Douglas Green, Pendleton earlier this week.

....

Four men have been arrested on suspicion of possession of explosives after a dramatic police chase.

I wonder what these men's background is; they did receive bail. This story is not being widely reported but happened Thurs. night apparently.

Apparently, I wouldn't think they are associated with the nail bomb. Who could let anyone who did that go free?

This is a different story than Parson's Green London.
