Yeah, funny how the Trumpians (or whatever they're supposed to be called without hurting their feelings) mocked the border fence that Cruz proposed long before Donnie came out with his "wall" claim....yet now, many are just fine with the secure fence.

The one good thing I see out of this is maybe the crybabies will finally get their vindication and move on to raise enough hell at Congress to do something instead of constantly posting pettiness here.

IMHO, maybe the good thing in all this is maybe people (especially those on the right) will stop putting their hope and faith in 'someone from the government who is here to help'- some white knight politician who can solve all their problems.

They will return to the general, and healthy, distrust and critical view of the political class (even those in it who claim to be outsiders).

They will stop hoping and believing in political promises and start being critical and analytical again.

If we've learned ANYTHING over the last 50 years it's that you cannot trust Democrats to hold up their end bargains!

IIRC Ted Cruz clearly warned us that Trump would cut deals with Democrats!  Seems that he was pretty damned precedent to me!

In that video POTUS is asked why did the democrats say they had a deal, and his answer is that they didn't say that.
