Schumer, Pelosi say deal reached with Trump for DACA protections

The top House and Senate Democrats have announced agreement with President Donald Trump to protect certain immigrants brought illegally to this country as children — along with some border security enhancements.


The agreement would specifically not include Trump’s long-sought border wall. It would enshrine protections for the nearly 800,000 immigrants who benefited from a program created by former President Barack Obama that Trump has announced he is ending.


The agreement was announced in a joint statement from House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi of California and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer of New York, following a dinner the pair had with Trump at the White House.


It marks the second time in two weeks that Trump has bypassed Republicans to deal with Pelosi and Schumer.

Immigration reform and no wall.  Like David French just said in Twitter, it's all fun and games until Trump makes a deal with Schumer and Pelosi on the next SCOTUS nominee.

   Told my family of Trump Voters this very thing 4 days ago.

   You wouldn't believe their expressions and dismay.

Said I wouldn't criticize Trump till I seen him sign off on weak deals of capitulation with the Dems.

If this sell out goes through it's over for the USA as it was founded.

Here we are 8 months into the Pubs having control over the Executive and Legislative branches and we don't see the end of obamacare. DACA is going to not only become law but a huge amnesty will be a part of it. The border is not going to be secured. Tax reform is going to increase the burden on the few near the top and make it easier for more to demand govt pay for everything they want because they don't have to pay for it.

Why did we elect Pubs?

As I said on the other thread about this :


true colors now showing.  Trump is working more closely with democrats then republicans and enacting shumer and pelosis agenda.  We have been sold down the river and not even for a decent price.  Planned parenthood is funded, DACA is continued, taxes will be raised on the "rich" and no wall will be built.  It's been a great year for the dems.  For conservatives not so much.  I'm not even sure the dems would have gotten as much of their agenda done this fast if Hillary won

And as we get closer to the 2020 campaign it will become the fault of the conservatives since, you know, Trump's a "conservative". The Pubbies will begin their search for a more palatible RINO and all will be back to their version of normal. Whatever remains of the conservative brand will have been destroyed and Bill, Obama and Donnie will go play golf.
