I occasionally go over to weather underground and take on the global warming wackos. I mostly do that in the winter since WU is a excellent source for info on tropical systems and I would not want cause havoc and chaos at a time when folks needs good info. 

I personally do not feel AGW is all that bad and very much over blown by the zealots. I present good info, from reliable sources in a polite manner.

I usually get banned (a timeout) within 15 to 20 minutes and all my posts are deleted. Some people just really do not want to hear an opposing view.

I generally stay away from discussing Cruz, I have no interest to and the subject always triggers endless arguments.

I do appreciate good manners on internet discussions. They seem to be rarer these days. In the past, by the time a president is nine months into his administration, intraparty bickering has usually ended. Not this time.

I have greatly reduced my presence, might do a short post two or three times a week. Twitter is fun, but 144 characters makes it a challenge.

I believe @Bigun was talking about Twitter. He is right to a certain extent, there are some pretty disgusting people on twitter. But I come from usenet news so I have seen EVERYTHING.

I keep a tab open in Latest Articles, because it's a pretty good aggregator of news stories from varied sources.  I rarely look at the threads themselves (I click the source links), but never, ever post unless it's something really special, like saying Farewell to JRandomFreeper....
