The Trump administration blocked Obama-era rules that would have saddled employers with hundreds of millions of dollars in compliance costs and increased paperwork loads by millions of hours each year.

The Office of Management and Budget instructed the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission to shelve a rule change that would have required employers to submit 20 times as much data to the agency as previously required. The Obama administration called for the new standards, which would have affected 61,000 American companies with more than 100 workers and federal contractors with more than 50 workers, to demonstrate his commitment to closing the much-disputed "gender wage gap." Obama's EEOC called for businesses to provide 3,660 different data points about each employee and their pay structure, up from the 188 points.

OMB issued the stay because of its concerns that the new forms would prove "unnecessarily burdensome" on businesses, while not achieving its desired goal of eliminating purposeful discrimination. It also said the EEOC rules could invade the privacy of individual workers without adequate protections in place.

Diversity is just another name for racism.

It is a fraud bestowed upon the American people as it has never been to make this country better.  Diversity does not improve a country.  It hurts it as barriers to communication are stifled.

I can approve of this kind of stuff also.  We don't need big brother micromanaging corporate hiring policy.  Its no wonder that companies want to go out of the country.

Pretty tough to pick the best staff if you think you might be sued by any of a growing alphabet soup of protected and preferred groups who can claim 'discrimination'. Time for that to end.

Yessir, and with Gubbermint picking who you can hire, there's that undeclared hostility among the non protected non minorities already working there.

"They only hired so and so because s/he's 'pick a reason' ". Race, country of origin, etc. even though the minority they hired may be far better qualified/brighter/harder working than the ones looking down on them as a Govt forced Hire.

That's true, and a disservice to anyone competent, but at the same time, a disincentive to being competent if one is going to be regarded as only being hired for whatever group they belong to.
That situation snowballs at some level and the employer and customer both suffer.

their comeback is you are a discriminating racist if you do not have members of all groups.  Those groups are expanding for skin pigment, ethnicity, religion, sex( or lack thereof), blind, weight, or the newest group to declare themselves.

What they refuse to acknowledge is why would a business trying to be successful ever NOT hire the best person they can.

It is an extension of government policy into the private sector, by force. You can do all sorts of social experimentation.promotion when you don't have to make a profit or compete, but that stuff doesn't fly when you have to make money and balance a checkbook.
