Two century-old steamer shipwrecks discovered in Lake Huron

MICHIGAN -- National maritime archaeologists say they've discovered two shipwrecks in northern Lake Huron believed to be steamers that sunk in 1894 and 1915.
National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration scientists announced the discoveries Friday, Sept. 1 and said the believe the vessels are the 202-foot wooden steamer Ohio and the 266-foot steel-hulled steamer Choctaw.
