Texas Sheriff to Looters: ‘There’s a Possibility You Could Leave This County in a Bag’

By Melanie Arter | September 1, 2017 | 12:58 PM EDT

Troy Nehls, the sheriff of Fort Bend County, Texas issued a warning to looters Friday: Stay out, or “leave the county” in a body bag.

Nehls told Fox News that many of the area’s residents believe in the 2nd Amendment and are armed.

Reminds me of living in Bakersfield, California.

I saw on the LA news multiple bank robberies that kept happening.  When I asked a local if any banks were robbed in Bakersfield, he said yes, a few years ago it happened.  But none of the bank robbers survived.

No robberies happened afterwards.

It happens far more regular than we realize, the stories just don't go national.

A year or so back in my county a legal pot grower killed 2 teenagers breaking into his house.
Several years ago a car stereo shop was robbed and the robbers managed to break the owner's leg. 2 weeks later the robbers returned and crashed a truck through the wall. The owner confronted them in a wheelchair with a shotgun. He killed one and severed the spine of the other.

Detroit has an huge justifiable homicide rate because its legal to defend yourself there.

Hell, I got people in my neighborhood that pick off squirrels for looting their pecan trees.   It's a MAD, MAD World.
No government in the 12,000 years of modern mankind history has led its people into anything but the history books with a simple lesson, don't let this happen to you.

I believe they call that "target practice" here in Texas.

That'd be me.  Squirrels that have the misfortune of being caught in my pear trees in the summer are shot, and hung in the tree as reminder to the others.
I display the Confederate Battle Flag in honor of my great great great grandfathers who spilled blood at Wilson's Creek and Shiloh.  5 others served in the WBTS with honor too.

"I wish it need not have happened in my time," said Frodo.

"So do I," said Gandalf, "and so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us."
