Berkeley Could Cancel Free Speech Week Out of Fear of Violence
By Andrew West August 30, 2017

The idea that Americans of any sort would allow violence to dictate their personal freedoms is an aberration of everything our nation stands for.

Yet, here we are in the year 2017, watching our country capitulate to neo-fascists on the left whose end goal is to ruin the First Amendment for everyone but themselves.

Well, that's the way to show 'em how to stand up for your rights! What, did they find an orange peel?

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

To a point. When you have people running around trying to escape their own sweat, it's a bloody nuisance.
Panophobia is just unbecoming in an adult.

Plus, it can be fun when you're bored to tears.  Start a rumor and watch the mice scramble through the maze.

I found these radioactive Sasquatch droppings that indicate UFO activity, but when viewed under an electron microscope they contain a hidden map indicating four different shooters in Dealy Plaza.

In the absence of martial law, I'd like to see how some city, country, or state official can legally cancel some speech by citizens.
If liberal pols can get away with this, they can get away with a lot more.  And they'll try.
