Let's not forget the last Texas hurricane.  Governor Perry requested federal assistance and instead of approving the request immediately as one would expect Obama just ignored the request.  After about 2 weeks Obama finally gave the go-ahead, but told the federal agencies to slow walk any assistance.

He's the one we've been waiting for huh?
