White House: Trump plans to call for 'new unity' in Nevada speech

The White House says President Trump plans to call for a “new unity” during a Wednesday speech to the American Legion National Convention.
 
“It is time to heal the wounds that have divided us, and to seek a new unity based on the common values that unite us,” Trump plans to say in Nevada, according to excerpts released by the White House.
 
“We are one people, with one home and one flag,” the president also plans to say.
 
The big question, however, is whether the president will stick to his script in the speech, which comes less than 24 hours after he delivered freewheeling remarks at a rally in Arizona.

His past actions drown out the word of that speech.

What common values?

Getting free shit from someone else?

Having your life subsidized and provided for by those you loathe?

Punishing those people you hate because you cannot stand the way they think or believe?

Being absolved of any personal responsibility for lousy behavior by blaming Whites, Christians and Conservatives for all the evils they perceive themselves to suffer?


There are no common values this Balkanized country share anymore.  No one talks about liberty.  Everyone talks about government and party to bring more or "better" government.

The only thing this people have in common to unify them, is making government bigger and more efficient at handing out more free shit.
