Just when you think ESPN can't possibly jump the shark one more time, they gather up another batch of stupidity and rev up the motor boat.

I know and my Facebook page reflects how angry people are with ESPN.

Why would a sports network deliberately decide to alienate its fans by taking a liberal political position.

People enjoy sports as a distraction from reality and a fun thing to do and watch.

ESPN has always been on the nasty side politically.  Remember when Rush lasted one show because some old race bater got offended.

I'll never understand why people in the entertainment business think it's a good idea to alienate half their audience and in the case of a sports network, I'd say three fourths.
Against stupidity, the Gods themselves contend in vain.

his quote, which remains accurate to this day:

"Sorry to say this, I don't think he's been that good from the get-go," Limbaugh
said. "I think what we've had here is a little social concern in
the NFL. The media has been very desirous that a black quarterback
do well. There is a little hope invested in McNabb, and he got a
lot of credit for the performance of this team that he didn't
deserve. The defense carried this team."

Congrats on a better memory than mine.

Even back then, ESPN forgot that while most players are black, most viewers are not.

Having brought that up, it rings an echo of what Jimmy the Greek also said:

It was Tom Jackson and the rest of the NFL Sunday crew that got their panties in a twist.

There has been an UPDATE to this story. The blacklist at ESPN is getting longer. Several other people are on the chopping block.

Bob Whiteman (oh hell no!)
Richard Christenson (not a chance)
Robert E. Leigh (gotta go!)
Kurt Keith Keegan (KKK !? no man, get the hell outta here)

So far, it is reported that they have over a hundred people on the "undesirable names" list and there is no end in sight so far.

Anyone name Adolf first, middle, or last, is automatically purged. And it goes on and on and on. Unless you have the correct skin color. Black people are exempted, naturally.

It is being called the great ESPN name purge of 2017.

If they kill their own with no conscience, there is nothing to stop them from killing you.
