Finally moving away from Pakistan and embracing India.  We have been too dependent on Pakistan over the decades. Then Pakistan stabs us in the back by harboring terrorists. India should be rewarded for their stance on their support.Good Speech!

Fighting terrorism is really the number one objective, the main purpose of a government is to defend the citizenry. Attacks as in Barcelona, London and Nice, show us that the terrorists we are up against will do anything.

My takeaways......

1. I give Trump 4 1/2 stars on this one.  Maybe his best yet

2. The first third, it seemed he was almost channeling Reagan.  (Can't believe I said it)

3. Re: India alignment (almost full blown allying) will have some interesting ireprecussions as we deal with China, and Pakistan.

4. Seemed a tad light on specifics on particular details in Afganistan.  Which is understanding considering he states that we will not advertise our intentions.

5. Surprised no mention of all of NK.

6.  If anyone in the military had any doubts whether DJT has their back, it was answered tonight.  Frame this speech versus what the former turd POTUS treated them.

   We've lost some 'good' members lately, NT and AT alike due to the level of personal snipping.  I know Myst and her army let us get away with a lot of crap and I am thankful for that.
   Everyone has buttons and some of us have been together so long we know exactly where those buttons are, though humourous and entertaining at times it can be quite disruptive to those that don't enjoy that sort of thing.  We can't afford to be losing members, particularly women, we need more women.
