Trump is a 'victim' and is being 'bullied,' says a GOP megadonor and veteran money manager

Americans are flocking to President Trump because they hate seeing people bullied, says conservative philanthropist Foster Friess.
The uproar over Trump's response to the deadly violence is "politically inspired" by critics, he says.

This man says that President Trump is a victim of bullying

President Donald Trump was correct to point to "bad people" among the protesters demonstrating against the white nationalists in Virginia, said Foster Friess, founder of the boutique investment group Friess Associates.

"I love Donald Trump," he told CNBC on Friday. "He's become a victim. And he's being bullied. And that's why Americans are flocking to him, because they hate [seeing] people ... bullied."

Those "flocking" to Trump were sharply divided along political lines, according to a new NPR/PBS "NewsHour"/Marist poll. Fifty-nine percent of Republicans expressed support for Trump's statements, while only 10 percent of Democrats and 30 percent of self-identified independents felt the same, the poll showed.

This is normal for Trump and many of his supporters.  Whatever is wrong, it's not his fault and he is a victim of something.

I have to wonder. Are there any "best people" left out there that would take on the job?  From what I have seen so far the answer is no. I thought Flynn was a solid choice. But no. It makes me wonder.

President Truman had a motto:  The buck stops here.  The president is supposed to be a leader. When things go wrong, he should be working to make things right -- not wasting time assigning blame or playing the victim.  It's long past time Trump put on his big boy pants and start being a leader.

So I'm a hater because I want him to be a leader?

Nice game you play.  Nothing he does matters, you find fault with everything.

And Trump worshipers think he is a saint who can do no wrong.

By the way, if you looked back at my posting record, you might find some of my posts which gave Trump kudos for the few accomplishments he has.  Trouble is, his accomplishments are few and far between.  He is wasting time looking for and insulting his enemies -- real or imagined -- and asigning blame when things go wrong, but spending little, if any, time working toward accomplishing the promises he made to voters.  So it's been "only" 8 months.  But he should be making some progress.  Yes, many of these things need the cooperation of Congress, and Congress is not inclined to do anything that benefits anyone but it's members.  But why isn't Trump working to secure their cooperation?  Instead he spends time blaming Congress when things aren't going right and playing the victim card.  As I said elsewhere, he should stop crying and start working.

Victimhood is not a Conservative value.

Yep..but there are not many Conservatives around anymore...

As many have commented the election of Trump has proven that many on the so called "right" are driven by emotion just as those on the left.

The American sense of victimhood permeates every aspect of our society both on the left and the right. It's really not to surprising that voters who see themselves as victims of the various perceived injustices of the world have elected a victim in chief.....

It's amazing how much this country has been wimpified since the days of Reagan....

Victimhood is not a Conservative value.

Neither is the way people are refusing to acknowledge the duly elected President..

The term "bully" is so overused and misunderstood these days....just like the term "racist" is always overused and misconstrued.  Trump isn't being bullied.  He is being verbally assaulted by the radical leftists AND their Pravda-like media.  Nobody, not even the most extreme Trump haters, can honestly deny that FACT.

So let's not call it bullying.  Let's call it what it is (a spade a spade, as it were).

It's the usual and ssdd leftist sore loserism tactics to take down a sitting president if they can't be the ones in control and in power.

I stand behind Trump AGAINST these POS leftists .....fully and 100%.....

as long as Trump does not represent 'their' interests, but rather mine, as a conservative.

The time has way past come for people to pick a side.  But....careful what you choose here....because if enough people pick the radical left side.... the end result will be an even bigger disaster than all of the previous DemocRat administrations combined.
No quarter given to the enemy within...ever.

LOL!

The tried-and-true tactic of all Liberals, when they fail - it's time to attribute the failures on others.   It's the fallback liberal position to assume victimhood for the inability of their political messiah and savior to deliver, because the people refuse to acknowledge the greatness of their ruler and salute him with every fiber of their being!
Fart for freedom, fart for liberty and fart proudly.  - Benjamin Franklin

...Obsta principiis—Nip the shoots of arbitrary power in the bud, is the only maxim which can ever preserve the liberties of any people. When the people give way, their deceivers, betrayers and destroyers press upon them so fast that there is no resisting afterwards. The nature of the encroachment upon [the] American constitution is such, as to grow every day more and more encroaching. Like a cancer, it eats faster and faster every hour." - John Adams, February 6, 1775
