Texas A&M cancels Sept. 11 White Lives Matter event
« on: August 14, 2017, 10:41:20 pm »
Texas tells Richard Spencer to f.o. We don't want him or his kind here.

Quote
A Texas representative said Monday on the House floor that a white supremacist rally on Texas A&M University's campus has been cancelled.

A former Texas A&M student announced on Saturday that he would host a White Lives Matter event in College Station on Sept. 11.

The university has not publicly commented on the event or its cancellation. Preston Wiginton, the one-time Texas A&M student who planned to host white nationalist Richard Spencer and White Lives Matter, did not immediately return a request for comment.....

It should have been planned as an All Lives Matter rally. That would have nailed the point home better than White Lives Matter. Focusing on one color or another misses the point.

They are trying to keep him from speaking in Florida as well.

Here is an interesting article from Mother Jones, they do have good articles from time to time though I disagree with their overall view:

Pretty damning article on Spencer here and I pointed out that picture of the African-American police officer everyone was pointing at, how about what was on the sign one of the men was holding in the background.

And then, this article:

Won't even quote; but it might be that these racialist types of alt-righters will see the setting sun. Are there other types of alt-righters like Milo was, Ben Garrison the cartoonist, Cernovich etc. I think so. Ones that are not so gruff.

A&M is becoming UT-Austin.  A liberal education establishment.

Too bad, as I thought it was the premier conservative public place in Texas.

It seems pretty Conservative to tell avowed socialist and racist Richard Spencer to pound sand.
