Far-Right Rally Goes Ahead in Seattle — Despite Violence in Virginia

A far right-wing rally went ahead as scheduled Sunday in Seattle, despite the violence that marred a white nationalist protest in Virginia on Saturday.

Joey Gibson, of the Portland, Oregon-based group Patriot Prayer, said he would urge his supporters to remain nonviolent during the "Freedom Rally" — and planned counter-protest — at Westlake Park.

 As of Sunday afternoon, about 200 people said they would attend Gibson's event, which was billed as a rally to "promote freedom, free speech, and the power of the human soul." More than 1,000 people said they planned to attend a counter-protest organized by the far-left Greater Seattle General Defense Committee.

"I don't want huge brawls," Gibson told NBC News. "If you're having brawls in the street, it looks like a bunch of crazy people fighting."

The article goes on to state, the Seattle organizer, Joey Gibson,  faulted those at Charlottesville for allowing white supremacist groups to be part of the march in Virginia.  All of those nutty groups need to be purged from these marches, protests and demonstrations, flags that obviously are reminiscent to World War II Nazi flags should be banned. Sounds like the guy in Seattle is a lot smarter on this.

Joey lives in Portland, apparently this happened in Portland last weekend. I'm still reviewing it. Perhaps, it's a milder type of rally without all of the chaos and zaniness.

Though being greatly outnumbered by the antifas anarchist flag burners, it appears the police pepper sprayed down the antifas anarchist flag burners in Seattle to keep the trouble down. Read the article.

Employing pepper spray and blast ball grenades, Seattle police successfully kept hundreds of counter-protesters apart from a right-wing rally in Seattle one day after a deadly clash in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Both the rally, organized by a Portland-based pro-Trump conservative group known as Patriot Prayer, and a counter-protest aimed at standing against hate were previously planned for Sunday.

It's great to say what "buzzards" the alt-right-ers are; if one is clamping down too much on others 1st amendment rights, not even letting them get a speech off in a sanctioned event, you have some responsibility for the garbage that comes down too.

The counter protestors dressed in black, often with faces hidden, don't deserve to be called anti-fascist, they are fascists just as much. Anarchist flag burners, something like this, fits them as well.

This article makes it pretty clear, Seattle Police cracked down on the anarchist flag-burners and this Seattle "conservative" group, Patriot's prayer, surely did not have the number of zaney types as Va.
