. . . Trump’s rapid acknowledgment of what was happening in Charlottesville and his unqualified
rejection of the message as well as the violence is welcome. Trump played footsie with these guys
way too much for comfort during the primary season and maybe this will serve as a way for him
to make a clear policy and rhetorical break with this fringe group that believes it won the election.

I never thought I'd say this, but for once his tweet was better and smarter than his spoken
address later in the day. I can't say it better than @endicom did on another thread---he
could have hit a three-run homer but he settled for an infield hit.

It was ok. a bit off kilter but he made his point. Wasn't a home run and he did make a misstep bragging about fake jobs numbers.
