PORTLAND, Maine – Ninety-seven percent of teachers in Portland Public Schools are white, and forty percent of students are not.

And that’s a problem for Superintendent Xavier Botana, the Bangor Daily News reports.

“It was an issue that kids talked about frequently. That they really wanted to see more people in their classrooms in leadership roles, etc. that looked like them and shared their experience,” he said.

How.........liberal. God forbid we hire the most qualified professional to prepare our children to excel and be successful, that's just old White man thinking, we need to make sure that children are taught by the right colored individual even if they aren't actually qualified to work the counter in a fast food establishment.  Obviously a child can't learn in an environment unless they are immersed in their own culture and jive.Sometimes I think liberals took the keys to success, put them in a box for safe keeping and then promptly threw it in the trash because it took too much space on the shelf.

That one went all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court (where it would have been a slam-dunk), but the Court never heard it and never issued an opinion (within a few weeks of oral arguments, Taxman was bought off by civil-rights groups to the tune of $480,000).

It's too bad Taxman wanted the money more than the victory.
The case would have ended affirmative action in America.
