Haley: ‘No Point’ in Another Consequence-Free UNSC Meeting on NK Missiles; US is ‘Done Talking’

(CNSNews.com) – The United States sees no point in holding an emergency U.N. Security Council meeting Monday on North Korea’s second long-range missile test in 24 days “if it produces nothing of consequence,” U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. Nikki Haley said Sunday, after tweeting that the U.S. is “done talking” about the issue.

“North Korea is already subject to numerous Security Council resolutions that they violate with impunity and that are not complied with by all U.N. member states,” she said in a statement, following the test-firing Friday of what appears to have been an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM).

Ok, then what next?  Kim isn't backing down and obviously the Chinese and the Russians aren't going to do anything.  It would seem a missile launch by the U.S. or Japan would invoke retaliation by Russia or China.
Romans 12:16-21

Live in harmony with one another; do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly, do not claim to be wiser than you are.  Do not repay anyone evil for evil, but take thought for what is noble in the sight of all.  If it is possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all…do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

Perhaps the US should use radio jamming on any further launches from NK so that they at least get no more useful telemetry from their launches.

I still think we're already doing this stuff by covert means.

  • All deserve a trial if accused
First off, if China can't influence North Korea more (we don't know for certain); why might Russia have more influence?

Also, Russia does plenty already, I can see sanctions for say, what they are accused of, helping the Taliban, supplying rebels in Ukraine or something but this election-interference story to me, is basically a dead-end.
