Volunteers have spent the past few days helping archaeologists to find evidence of the Blackfriars monastery in Perth, where King James I of Scotland is believed to have been murdered.
A dozen volunteers, along with Perth and Kinross Heritage Trust and Scotland’s Urban Past, were working in the cellars at Christie’s Pub in Kinnoull Street on Wednesday and Thursday this week.
