Good to see that little more than a month after a mass assassination attempt on Republicans, Democrats are continuing the kind of rhetoric that serves as a dog whistle to violent left-wing extremists.

Earlier this week, Sen. Chuck Schumer ratcheted up the rhetoric claiming the repeal of Obamacare would “hurt millions.”

The GOP is busy fighting among itself so it can caucus or surrender to the Democrats, whose agenda the GOP Leadership and enough of the party wants to brand as their own.

What is the point of having a majority if one is unwilling or unable to govern?

But with our modern-day GOP, the situation is worse - they are dysfunctional. Their so-called "leadership" is unable or unwilling to articulate a coherent vision; they have been unable to formulate a practical legislative agenda, and they seemingly cannot communicate ideas or effectively challenge those of the other party.

When the GOP leadership and enough of its members sees itself as part of a Uniparty and does not have any intention of doing what the voters gave them majority power to do, it explains why there is no coherent vision and appears dysfunctional.  They cannot challenge the ideas of the Democrats when they share the same ideas and goals.  The only difference is the fact the GOP thinks they can manage Socialism and Statism better and more effectively than the Democrats can.

To be fair, the Pelosi/Reid governing style was pure and simply My Way Or The Highway.  If you ever wondered why Democrats marched lockstep and voted for even the craziest legislation, you can thank the Pelosi/Reid iron fist.

It's not like they sat around and debated the Pro's and Con's of any legislation then determined what was best for the American people.  Civics 101 wasn't exactly in play here.

Then you have the Republicans which is a whole other can of worms.
