Wow. Refuse to answer the (awkward, but important) question. Change the subject. Attack the interviewer as not wanting to defeat his opponent. Accuses the interviewer repeatedly of not wanting to beat Elizabeth Warren. Accuses the interviewer of being a "Fake Trumper" (Note: Not a "fake conservative" or "fake Republican", but a "Fake Trumper"). Starts browbeating the interviewer about people he has met the interviewer won't, about number of college degrees, about number of jobs created, about the interviewer's qualifications (the interviewer isn't running for office). Never addresses the allegations. Calls the interviewer a liar....
(Where have we heard that sort of rhetoric before?)
That man shouldn't be any closer to power than a light switch.
If he thinks his failure to address the issue of an arrest for domestic abuse and a restraining order will play well with the base there, he hasn't been paying attention to the way the left shreds people over misogyny (even just allegations). Instead he feeds the whole 'war on women' meme, something Warren is a specialist at.
He might have had a chance had he calmly addressed and denied the event, but he proved instead he is not fit for the position by trying to browbeat his way out of the situation. I sincerely hope the GOP has a viable candidate for the job, but that guy isn't it.
