His last TV appearance was in 1965 and he was elected Goverrnor in 1966. Fresh in peoples' minds.

Nobody would have known who Reagan was, were it not for his entertainment industry career.

Don't know about anyone else, but I didn't really know about Reagan till he ran for the presidency.  Never saw any of his films and I wasn't a fan of Death Valley Days.

Fame has nothing to do with it. Anyone who can seriously compare Kid Rock with Ronald Reagan isn't someone worthy of being taken seriously.

I like Kid Rock personally and have a long history of promoting him as a good American who is far superior to Trump as a man and as an American. Unfortunately that simply isn't enough.
