Hmmmmmmm.... you know - that particular horse is long gone and glue by now. Finding out who opened the door and why is a bit.... surreal.
Especially given how trustworthy the DOJ and the FBI has proven itself.
No, actually, it is the 'gift' that keeps on giving. Why? Because the southern border operation was not the only 'sting' that was "botched".
"Project Gangwalker?" More gunwalking -- in INDIANA! Gunwalker Explodes into the HeartlandATF Death Watch 75: ATF-Enabled Indiana Guns Went to Chicago Gangs"Gangwalker" Fast and Furious operation in EvansvilleThere was more than one operation, and despite the push for additional long gun laws being tied in with the Fast and Furious "Gunwalker" operation, done with the intent not of tracking firearms or arresting straw buyers or their connections (because the firearms have only been recovered from crime scenes and criminal caches) but with providing a surge in the number of guns in Mexico that could be traced back to purchases from US gun shops for the purpose of 'justifying' further infringing the RKBA.
That is a violation of the law, a conspiracy to deprive Americans of a Civil Right.
But, in 2012, there was another operation going, out of Evansville, Indiana, which included the ATF 'requesting cooperation' from at least one firearm dealer in another 'sting' operation which included selling guns which have ended up in the hands of gangs in Chicago, a place notorious for shooting deaths that are gang related.
If that wasn't enough, while everyone was watching the 'gunwalker' operation, and "Gangwalker" got short shrift in the news, there was more!
GRENADEWALKER: Inspector General Reports Blasts DOJ For ANOTHER Fast & Furious ScandalFOX: Issa on "Grenadewalker." "Grenade-walking" part of "Gunwalker" scandalPolice say Jean Baptiste Kingery, a U.S. citizen, was a veritable grenade machine. He's accused of smuggling parts for as many as 2,000 grenades into Mexico for killer drug cartels -- sometimes under the direct watch of U.S. law enforcement.
For more on this investigation, visit CBS Investigates.
Law enforcement sources say Kingery could have been prosecuted in the U.S. twice for violating export control laws, but that, each time, prosecutors in Arizona refused to make a case.
Grenades are weapons-of-choice for the cartels. An attack on Aug. 25 in a Monterrey, Mexico casino killed 53 people.
Sources tell CBS News that, in January 2010, ATF had Kingery under surveillance after he bought about 50 grenade bodies and headed to Mexico. But they say prosecutors wouldn't agree to make a case. So, as ATF agents looked on, Kingery and the grenade parts crossed the border -- and simply disappeared.
Six months later, Kingery allegedly got caught leaving the U.S. for Mexico with 114 disassembled grenades in a tire. One ATF agent told investigators he literally begged prosecutors to keep Kingery in custody this time, fearing he was supplying narco-terrorists, but was again ordered to let Kingery go.
There is little doubt that the culture of corruption, of the same administration which has nurtured racial violence, if not advocated it, has been active in arming criminal elements in the US and outside our borders with weapons which can be, and have been used in the commission of murderous acts.
Holder is in the thick of this and ran interference not only for these allegedly 'botched' operations, but for the Administration which spawned them. He has, in violation of his oath of office, and under color of law, materially assisted through obstruction (at the very least) the perpetration of the very sort of crimes his office is supposed to prosecute, an egregious and grievous violation of the public trust.
That cannot be allowed to stand.
Unfortunately, that 'horse' isn't gone to glue, that sonofabitch has been put out to stud, and is still active in seeding the murder and mayhem that's coming.
