Widow, daughter attacked with acid in Kurram

KURRAM AGENCY:
A woman, as well as her three-year-old daughter, suffered ‘life-threatening’ injuries after her brother-in-law threw acid on them in a village in Central Kurram.
The victim has been identified as Nadia Gul, a widow living with her in-laws in the remote Daya village.
The woman and her daughter had been shifted out of the agency in a critical condition, according to an eyewitness who spoke on condition of anonymity.
