The U.S. Army's Tactical Proficiency Problem
Scott Metz, Armor Magazine June 23, 2017

An opposing-forces commander at the Joint Multinational Readiness Center (JMRC) in Germany sits in the back of
his tracked vehicle, planning his mission for the next phase of the rotation. His enemy is very similar to what he has
faced many times before. It consists of a U.S. brigade headquarters, a U.S. battalion with several multinational
attachments and a multinational battalion comprised of units from a handful of several different nations.
