Media Horrified After Trump Tweets Video Body-Slamming CNN

Gotta agree.  MSNBC, CNN and NPR have devolved to the "Bash Trump" networks 24/7.  They are all showing the public their total devotion to a particular political orientation, and they have long stopped disguising it.  In the long run, I applaud this development because the MSM has pretty much lost all credibility.  People see them as providing porn for progressive wet dreams, and nothing more.

In the meantime, Trump has one little tweet that has no authority and no one in the GOP takes seriously.  He uses it to stir the hornet's nest, and quite effectively.  Hope he keeps it up.

What I would like to see is to have Trump get someone else to help with the fight against the media.

He is giving his opponents exactly what they want. The media acts shocked and upset, but they want this kind of reaction and are constantly poking him to get it. This gets them a lot more ratings and attention than if he just did the boring, mundane, stuff that is his actual job.

All Trump is accomplishing is furthering the divides between the country and drawing more opposition to himself and the GOP.  The media is hat-in-hand working the same shell game Trump is.  Nothing good will come of any of this.

Yes, childish payback from the chief executive may seem like fun, but the consequences of it destroy the very thing you think you are saving.

Showing the opposition what they are while uniting a nation behind you is not done by engaging in furthering 'us' versus 'them' via incitement.  That will just breed itself into a hot war without an advantage of defending liberty, but actually working to destroy it.  That's a major lose-lose for the entire country.

When Ancient Israel's people became corrupted and hell-bent on wickedness, they kept choosing leaders that grew worse and worse and more heinous in a vain struggle to extract themselves from consequences they themselves earned.

I find that nowadays most people want and like to be lied to.  They do not want to hear the truth.  They want to hear what they have been told they want to hear.  They believe the narratives.  Those feed and assuage everything from guilt to entitlement.  They want those beliefs continually fed.

It's the truth they hate as much as the protagonists who push falsehood do.

First, Trump evinces a disarming fondness for dead cats. Not literally, you understand. I mean the dead cats that Lynton Crosby specialised in. You may recall that the Australian strategist, one of the most effective campaign managers and manipulators of media in modern history, had a habit of throwing 'dead cats' into the national conversation.

The technique is simple. If you and I were having a conversation, and then suddenly someone threw a dead cat onto a table, we'd stop talking about whatever riveting subject had heretofore detained us, and talk about the dead cat instead. I must admit the stench of hypocrisy from the left never seems to dissipate. Without condoning Trump's bullying tactics, I would like to take the opportunity to acknowledge that Bill Clinton set the stage for all of this. Trump's tweets do not compare with Clinton's dalliances with a 21 YO intern in the Oval Office. IIRC, the press viewed this as a "personal matter" between him and his wife.

Had the media properly reported on Chinese campaign contributions, Hillary and Bill would have been run out of town.

Instead, there was Nina Burleigh publicly offering Bill Clinton oral sex for keeping abortion legal.

Clinton and Trump have been abusing women for decades, and only Trump is getting called on it.
