Dems Want to Use 25th Amendment to Remove Trump From Office

By Martin Lioll

A new proposal to create a panel that could remove President Donald Trump under the auspices of the 25th Amendment was introduced in the House of Representatives on Thursday, just hours after controversial tweets from the president involving the hosts of “Morning Joe.”

However, there are two little problems with the plan: It would require opponents to prove that the president “unable to discharge the powers and duties” of the office, as indicated under the 25th Amendment, and it would have to get Vice President Mike Pence to sign off on it.

Gee, Wally, they found the Constitution again...well, part of it anyway.

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

People in Hell probably want ice water, too.   That doesn't mean they'll get it.  The leftists just keep cementing in the minds of voters 'why' they can't be allowed to get back into power in Congress.  All I can say is....

thanks, DemocRats!

Whatever useless project that keeps them from really screwing up the country is okay by me.

(That's a nice hold you boys dug. Real nice. Straight sides, square corners, level bottom. Real nice.

But I think it would look better over there by the barn.  Why don't you move it over there? )

My brother the Marine told me that at boot camp at Pendleton he had to dig a hole so deep.  When he was through, they told him to fill it back up and dig another one where the pile was.

Seemed useless at the time, but it sure broke him of any dream he might have had of being his own man.  He then followed orders.

Perhaps we are either seeing the obvious uselessness of the attempt exposed for all the world to see, or what I really think it is that certain Dems who get funding by ultra-liberal fatcats who wish to see something done, even if a useless attempt, in order to keep their financiers happy.

Libs live by the rules of the intent is the only important thing, not results.

That funding thing? That's where the serious skimming goes on. Of course, if the effort fails, the solution is obvious: MORE MONEY! Which puts more in the pockets of the skimmers...Win, lose, or draw, the house gets its rake.

I had a boss who had us (the seawall crew) do just that with a fairly large hole. A week later, the contract was signed for another large job and we filled in the hole and went 'back to work'. We got paid for the week of moving holes. Seems he just couldn't bring himself to have us sit at home with no check, but he wasn't going to pay us for doing nothing, either.

Our football coach got me out of a mighty, mighty jam. He'd been trying to get me on the team for two years, and this was his chance. Charges dropped, expulsion threats allayed, and I finally, reluctantly showed up for football practice.

The first thing he made us do was to fall down face fwd, with arms stretched out sideways... get up, stand where our face just was, and do it again... all the way down the field...

Nope.

I guess some of us only follow orders that are valid and sane.

No useless holes for me, thanks... And that coming from a guy who has dug a whole lot of holes.
