Twenty-three states so far are challenging or refusing to comply with requests for voter registration data in the Trump administration's quest to prove that illegal votes cost him the popular vote in the November election.
The Presidential Advisory Commission on Election Integrity, formed last month via an executive order by President Trump, asked the 50 secretaries of state this week to provide the voter data, The Hill reports.
