Oh.... but Jazzhead is not just labeling it a benefit. He's calling it an entitlement.... and putting us all (all who paid into the system for decades) on the same level as the REAL "free riders".... ie those that never paid a damn dime for ANY thing.... yet draw from that government teat for most or for all of their damned lives.

A point to be made here: When Senators, etc., use the word to describe social security payments, they are acknowledging that the citizen is ENTITLED to that money.
When the MSM use the word, they conflate it with government payments like welfare, food stamps, Section 8 and other assorted entitlement programs.
