US woman 'shot boyfriend dead in YouTube stunt gone wrong'
« on: June 29, 2017, 12:55:12 pm »
A pregnant woman has been charged with killing her boyfriend in what is believed to have been a social media stunt gone wrong.

Monalisa Perez, 20, was detained by police in Minnesota after shooting at Pedro Ruiz while he held a book to his chest, assuming it would stop the bullet.

She told officers that Mr Ruiz, 22, asked her to take part in the stunt so they could upload a video of it to their YouTube channel.

Their three-year-old daughter was reportedly among the crowd of 30 who watched in horror as the incident unfolded at 6.30pm on Monday.
