NyT Admits Obamacare Nothing More Than A Socialist Redistribution Scheme

June 23, 2017| by V. Saxena

The New York Times has finally admitted a fundamental truth about former President Barack Obama’s widely panned health care law, the Affordable Care Act, aka Obamacare.

“Obamacare raised taxes on high earners and the health care industry, and essentially redistributed that income — in the form of health insurance or insurance subsidies — to many of the groups that have fared poorly over the last few decades,” the notoriously leftist rag conceded.

  • Ah, the air is so much fresher here...
All done in an attempt to gain and secure more Democrat votes with a pork barrel bribery scheme.
The Republic is lost.

And yet we are being lectured by both the GOP and their party hacks here on this board that we cannot expect a full repeal of Obamacare because it would 'hurt' too many people and be 'political suicide'.

Strewn amidst lectures that 'half a loaf is better than none at all'.
Fart for freedom, fart for liberty and fart proudly.  - Benjamin Franklin

...Obsta principiis—Nip the shoots of arbitrary power in the bud, is the only maxim which can ever preserve the liberties of any people. When the people give way, their deceivers, betrayers and destroyers press upon them so fast that there is no resisting afterwards. The nature of the encroachment upon [the] American constitution is such, as to grow every day more and more encroaching. Like a cancer, it eats faster and faster every hour." - John Adams, February 6, 1775

Everyone is worried about political suicide, but give no heed to fiscal suicide. Congress has come up with nothing so far that is fiscally sound and workable for both the govt and Americans.

Because like all imbeciles and ignoramuses they willfully IGNORE the Sovereign and Immutable Laws in favor of the puny man-made laws they think make them gods.  Economic laws like laws of physics do not change simply because we're America, and these idiots think bad stuff cannot happen to us because of how powerful and prosperous we are.

Kicking the economic can down the road while printing more money out of thin air and tacking on more entitlements and subsidies simply means that when the bough breaks (and it IS going to break), it is going to crush absolutely EVERYTHING underneath it.  Probably when our currency becomes worthless overnight and digital money will be discovered to be less than thin air, everything will be crushed and Weimar will look like a picnic in comparison.

Meaning you and me and the entire country get to suffer, save for the morons who know what they did is unsustainable so they are prepping to hide inside mountains or on islands when it all comes down.

Because temporary god-like power while feathering their own nests and greasing the palms of those who keep them in power is more important than passing a viable nation onto their posterity.

Then again, a majority of them loathe the country to begin with and are in office to fundamentally transform us anyway.
