Trump-Hater Robert Reich Found A Unique Way To Slander The President
June 20, 2017| by Brian Anderson
Robert Reich was Bill Clinton’s Labor Secretary and is a pain-in-the-ass liberal political commentator. He also hates Donald Trump with a passion and frequently yells “impeachment” and “treason” though he doesn’t actually know what those words mean. His Trump hating comes with a bit of a problem however because as much as he wants to say horrible and crazy things about the President, there are libel laws and he doesn’t want to get sued. In a master-stroke of liberal ingenuity Reich figured out he can slander Trump all he wants if he makes up an imaginary friend to say the things he wishes he could.
That literary device has been around for a while.
Galileo used a technique like that
to get around the Church's ban on publishing heresy.
He wrote books consisting of conversations between three characters,
one of whom would debate in favor of the doctrine Galileo wanted to present.
Of course, the character would "lose" the debate by the end of the book,
but that was the only way the heretical point of view could even be presented.
