    Brown’s Budget: No Cuts, More Gun Control, Funds Planned Parenthood, Raises Taxes to Pay for Illegal’s Legal Defense

    The largest budget in California history contains none of Gov. Jerry Brown’s promised cuts—but it’s chock full of nasty surprises for taxpayers—including increases in taxes, more money for legal defense of illegal aliens, and expands gun control.

    This budget is a far cry from the priorities Gov. Jerry Brown laid out back in January. When the economy was still struggling, and revenues were skittish, Brown promised cuts to increases in education, subsidized childcare and planned to “phase out a middle-class college scholarship program,” according to a Capitol Radio story.

Maybe some of them will move here to Illinoisy and buy my place from me. My asking price is cheap by California standards for 6 acres with a barn........

I'm grateful I could grow up in the county.  I'm thankful I've managed to move back to the country side even if it was too late for my oldest.

We are in the process of turning our 6 acres into 22.  I've got an 8 year old with lots to learn about work...

Raising a few longhorns for rodeo roping.  We've got 3 horses and a practice arena.  May add goats down the line, but our plate feels quite full already.

You can train your dog to leave them alone. Cats are more problematical, though one mean old momma hen with a clutch of chicks can teach a cat a lesson.
