Sir John Major has warned a Conservative deal with the DUP could undermine the"fragile" Northern Ireland peace process.

The former prime minister said he was "wary" and "dubious" about a potential deal between Theresa May and Arlene Foster.

He said there was a danger the Government will not look "impartial" if it is "locked into a parliamentary deal" with the Northern Irish Party.
