TV Writers Cry That Trump Has Made Them So Sad It’s Hard To Work

June 10, 2017| by Brian Anderson

I know everyone reading this is going to feel deep sympathy. Overpaid liberals with the easiest job in the world are struggling to focus in the age of Trump. TV writers are complaining that Trump’s presidency has given them a case of the sads and it’s affecting their creative output. You know, because before Trump TV writing was awesome and brilliant.

Entertainment Weekly reports that there was a TV writers panel at the ATX Television Festival in Austin. Now get this, the purpose of the panel was to bitch about Trump and in fact it was called “Trumped Up TV.”

The consensus of the group is that Trump has been rather distracting, to say the least.

Little do these leftie whiners know.... that the more they blame Trump for their own failures....

the more folks that previously were not supporters of Trump start supporting him.   Trump should thank them.

I wonder if they have any idea that sounding like two year olds doesn't endear them to anyone other than other two year olds?

Two child Presidents in a row, and other liberals who grow increasingly immature as the days go by, a la Benjamin Button.

I imagine in time the average American maturity level will peak at age six......  **nononono*

What they should be crying about is that their product is so bad and lazy it gets cancelled mid-season......

Anything can be called art because there's no accepted definition.  The list of "artists" is interminable.  As you mentioned above, the morons who scratch out moronic scripts for moronic tv shows that nobody watches; the musicians who moan, whine and cry in their beer, as well as those grunting and yelling the vulgarities of ghetto gutter cRap lyrics; the directors and actors who crank out hundreds of movies every year, nearly all destined to the five-dollar bin in Walmart within two months;  those who splash buckets of paint on a canvas, then roll around in it naked; and worst of all, the stand-up comics who try to pass off as comedy the most asinine garbage that would totally embarrass real comedians like Jack Benny and Carol Burnett.

And all these are considered, and consider themselves, artists.

I can feel their pain.

Trump brings a level of absurdity to the office that they could have never gotten away with...

I remember some decades back when they started calling musicans "recording artists."
Some popular rocker at the time (can't remember his name) protested that he was a musician and not an artist. He said that whenever he thought of the word artist, he thought of some guy in a studio wearing a beret daubing paint on a canvas. He said that wasn't him, he played a musical instrument and sang for a living.
If somebody calls the dreck that stands for music today art, then what a three year old does with crayons is art as well.

You would think they would be overjoyed to have someone like Trump in office after eight years of collectively kissing the posterior of Comrade Barack believing there was nothing to criticize or make fun of a commie poltroon.
Now they've got  a prez who basically writes their material for them. And they're unhappy.  Poor, stupid schmucks.
