So far, I approve of Trump on the military side of things. He's not really put a foot wrong - listens to the people who know what the hell is going on, calls a hard shot if needed, and makes it very obvious he supports the troops.
His almost deference to the military
could be a cause for concern about undue influence of the military in the civilian role of government - but not while Mattis is at the wheel. He don't stand for that crap and is, for a general, surprisingly unambitious.
(Just don't get me started on the diplomatic side ....
