Nah, buying time. A symbolic sacrificial gesture at most which, depending where these two end up, doesn't mean a thing. They still have phones and email.

If she can ride out the pressure to resign for the next week, the exit talks start and she'll have the extra defense of people not wanting to change horses mid-battle.
