Chechen Accused Of Plotting To Kill Putin Survives Shooting In Kyiv

KYIV -- An assassination attempt on a Chechen man whom Russian authorities accuse of plotting to kill President Vladimir Putin failed in Kyiv on June 1 after the victim’s wife returned gunfire and wounded the would-be assassin.
Adam Osmayev sustained two gunshot wounds to the chest before his wife, Amina Okuyeva, fired four shots back at the alleged shooter, hitting him in the arm, leg, and hip, Kyiv police said.
Both of the men are said to be in hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

There are a lot of these kinds of acts coming out of Russia, Turkey gets criticized but in all likelihood, some tentacles out of Russia have carried out these acts as well per the Jamestown institute.
