Am I allowed to say that today's Vatican--under the new Pope--is either crooked or stupid or both? I think I will just have to post this response to the article and see what happens.

The AGW alarmists are unscrupulously unscientific. This is easily seen in things like the fact that the alarmists talk about methane from cow farts and the need for all of us to eat less beef to save the planet. My goodness, the alarmists blame
everything on anthropogenic global warming. This even includes the rise of ISIS. In other words, the alarmists are trying to cool us down by recruiting stupid snowflakes.
Moreover, the science behind the CO2 alarmism has been thoroughly discredited. The global temperature increases seen in the 20th Century can be readily correlated with well-documented astrophysical mechanisms involving the increased sun spot activity seen in the past century. (Furthermore, the increased CO2 in the atmosphere seen during that warming trend was quite evidently the
result of the ocean warming [Henry’s Law], not the cause thereof.) Worst of all, perhaps, the data sets claiming that the earth has continued to warm even after the sunspot activity fell off around the end of the 20th Century are the result of preposterous cherry-picking--a cherry-picking that involves possibly criminal fraud by global socialists to push through the Paris Accord.
The whole mess really is a UN-based conspiracy to hurt our first-world economies and redistribute our wealth. I suspect that the elitists in key positions in Western governments and the MSM are for the most part knowing participants in the global fraud. (Of course, the crooked intelligentsia does have a plethora of useful idiots.)
Today, I perused a brand-new post here on TBR that in my scientific opinion completely crushes the AGW snowflakes:

Anyway, it seems to me that the Vatican has gotten especially weird under the new Pope.
I have several Roman Catholic friends who are dismayed by the positions that the new Pope has taken in his homilies and in the media. Pardon me for saying so, but I don’t think Francis has any business heading up the world’s largest faction of the Professing Church.
Kudos to Trump if he pulls us completely out of the Paris Accord.
