DC Sniper Gets Life Sentence Overturned

A federal judge has overturned two life sentences for Lee Boyd Malvo, the man who terrorized Washington DC in 2002 with a series of sniper-style shootings.

The U.S. Supreme Court asserted that Malvo is entitled to new sentencing hearings, ruling that mandatory life sentences for juveniles are unconstitutional.

Malvo was 17 when he was arrested in 2002 for the shootings in D.C. Malvo was sentenced to life without parole along with John Allen Muhammad, then 42. The series of shootings in October 2002 left 10 people dead and another 3 injured.

Seems that federal judge has now telegraphed to all would-be terrorists or assasins to now recruit underage teens to support their work.

What other possible reason exists for the judge to vacate the sentence of a cold blooded killer?

I notice all the articles show Malvo's baby faced 17 y/o pic v. the 30-something version he is today. The media are all but cheering about this. Yeah, he murdered some people in cold blood, but what matters is we're sticking it to the Man and spreading the liberal religion, or something.

What people may forget:

- he calmly sat in the trunk of a car and shot to kill people, including women.

- his terror trip began in Washington state and terrorized all the way to D.C.

- his accomplice's name is Mohammed.

- Muhammad is already executed

- Malvo's home is not the US

This is about as evil as one could be, and he never showed remorse, just tried to play victim card.

This is a case of both Islamic terrorism and by a non-citizen

Activist judge appointed by Bill Clinton of course. I hope the new sentence is the death penalty.

Should have been a death sentence,  but that won't happen.  Courts can't actually do justice sometimes.

You mean they didn't show his baby picture?
