FORT WALTON BEACH — Retired Army Lt. Col. Jim Tucker doesn't like to speak about the death of fallen soldiers.

"I can't do it," the former commander of the Florida Army Ranger Camp said. "I get too emotional."

He made an exception during a ceremony Friday afternoon, however, when he presented a dog tag that belonged to the late Army Capt. Gordon Kimbrell to Kimbrell's firstborn son.
